ASST ENGINEER – SERVICE DEP (ELECTRICAL)
Location: HCM

SCOPE
1. Responsible for electrical and electronics engineering analysis as required on assigned projects. Through application of engineering standards and the process of continuous improvement:
2. To provide reliable, high quality engineering services to customers.
3. To maintain close relationships with the production unit to promote effective communication and ensure designs meet specifications.

RESPONSIBILITY
1. Implement directly all technical works at sites but not limited to: repair, Inspection, commissioning, checking, troubleshoot, installation, training how to operate machines to customers, etc…
2. To lead the team of workers, technicians or engineers (of the companies or subcontractors) to resolve customers’ press machines issues professionally and ethically.
3. Ensure engineering designs meet operational, safety and company's design requirements, as well as any additional requirements of the service department.
4. Participate in job planning and scheduling. Take full responsibility to assure projects/tasks assigned and undertaken meet goals for cost, schedule and product performance. Must be able to work and/or travel as necessary to meet project schedules and / or accomplish goals and objectives.
5. Communicate effectively with mechanical service members, customers, other departments, and vendors.
6. Assist in problem solving as required in engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service as required.
7. Practice continuous improvement to reduce costs within the department and company while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
8. Travel as required to accomplish assigned projects.
9. Implement related paper works but not limited to: ask for drawing, prepare quotation requests to manufacturing sites, make reports immediately after completing service works to superiors and customers, request for cash advance (if necessary) and claim in petty cash form with all supporting documents in case of purchasing items or services related to service works, etc….
10. Take care customers but not limited to: keep communication with customers periodically, make plan to visit customers’ sites to master machines problems and status, etc….
11. Support superiors or Managements to go to visit customers.
12. Advise ideas to improve the company business activities to achieve the targets.
13. Perform other duties as assigned in service department.

EDUCATION
Graduated from Colleges or Universities of electrical and electronics or Automation & Systematic control, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good communication and writing skills in English (because this person must write service reports in English to Service Manager, Factory Production Dept, Customers, etc…).

REQUIREMENTS
1. Above one year of experience in experience in engineering, preferably machine electrical controls (analog and digital).
2. Knowledge of electrical and electronics components used in stamping machines and automation equipment.
