Job Overview/About Company:

    • Represent company in the depot in front of the customer
    • Insure the contractual availability of trains under general warranty
    • Management of the warranty team and management of all activities conducted in depot
    • Secure the strict application on the depot of all the processes (HSE, Quality) related to warranty activities

Performance indicators

    • Train availability during general warranty
    • Compliance according to ADEL rules
    • Management of the workload in accordance with the planned activities
    • Team qualification and polyvalence
    • Customer satisfaction (Customer depot management, maintenance management)
    • Retrofits executed in the defined timeline
    • Reliability of all documents et records issued and updated by the depot team
    • EHS compliance


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and implement the relevant management processes of warranty in depot
  2. Make sure the management processes are understood and followed
  3. Insure the availability of the trains under general warranty in accordance with the contractual requirements
  4. Management of the warranty team, the associated workload and skills, and manage all activities conducted in depot:
    • trains troubleshooting and reparation,
    • commissioning during serial phase after training by C&W team during the first deliveries
    • modification implementation
    • Including supplier reparation in depot
  5. Insure all reparation records in dedicated database and communicate with internal teams and customer as necessary
  6. Guarantee the technical configuration of the trains
  7. Supervise the availability of the consignment stock onshore (warehouse) and control spare and reparation logistics
  8. Make sure the WI team onshore contributes to the processes of Reliability Growth and technical feedback for future projects
  9. Insure good communication with other parties within the consortium and define the appropriate interaction process (information flow, contact people)
  10. Insure the good relationship and interaction with the customer depot Management and the maintenance management
  11. Secure the strict application on the depot of all the processes (HSE, Quality) related to warranty activities
  12. Control the WI competencies
  13. Support onshore validation activity
  14. Control and report depot budget
  15. Pilots and reports the indicators relevant for the activity


 Job Requirements:

  1. General knowledge of rolling stock and railway
  2. Good knowledge and experience (5 years minimum) of the environment of customer depot
  3. Good technical knowledge in mechanics and / or electrical
  4. Strong team management skills
  5. Customer oriented, result oriented and quality-oriented mindset
  6. Good interpersonal skills and cross-cultural abilities
  7. Clear and transparent communication
  8. Knowledge and experience of the standard WI processes (Quality, HSE, …)
  9. English and / or French fluent
