Description:
Our client is a leading global supplier of technology and services, in the areas of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods as well as building technology. This position will be responsible for Logistics Service Providers (LSP) management for international air freight and express, and back up for international sea freight and trucking in and out ASEAN area, wherever ASEAN legal entities or plants are the freight payers

Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide general legal advice and support to Bosch legal entities and business units in Vietnam, including business licence and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Identify and manage legal risks, litigation and disputes, including debt recovery matters.
  • Provide internal training on legal and compliance matters.
  • Draft and negotiate Vietnamese/global long term supply contracts, distribution agreements, software implementation agreements, product trial agreements, etc.
  • Instruct and liaise with external counsel and corporate secretarial service providers; manage services providers and related costs.
  • Manage projects and undertake other duties as assigned by the General Counsel SEA, including providing legal support to business units in other South East Asian countries from time to time.

Job requirements:
  • Holds a Bachelor of law from recognized universities in Vietnam, Juris Doctor or equivalent and have either obtained or is in the process of obtaining a licence from the Bar Association of Vietnam. Candidates with overseas legal qualifications in addition to local qualifications are preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English and Vietnamese languages (both spoken and written).
  • At least 6 years of relevant legal experience in corporate, contracts and litigation gained at a reputable law firm in Vietnam, ideally with some exposure dealing with regulatory matters / audits. Some in-house legal experience, particularly in multi-national corporations, with prior work experience on legal matters in other ASEAN countries will be well regarded.
  • Experience in the following areas of law will be an advantage: technology, manufacturing and product liability, privacy and cybersecurity, M&A, intellectual property, environmental, anti-trust (competition) laws.

  • Good business acumen, resourceful, possess initiative, drive and flexibility to deliver value to the business.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
