Job description:

  • Perform and follow routine inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at all stages of production
  • Identify requirements of US head office about standards, specification, approved samples and testing requirements
  • Coordinate with other departments to define quality standard and production process in new product development
  • Follow quality checklists to be followed for each step of production, make sure all products follow the technical drawings and approved samples
  • Follow, review and complete quality system, policies and procedures to improve effectiveness and sustainable development
  • Coordinate with factory partners for solving quality issues and supports root-cause analysis investigations
  • Responsible for handling complaints. Work with internal departments as well as suppliers to solve critical and major quality issues. Ensure quick and effective customer complaint investigation and corrective action feedback
  • Manage quality data collection and analysis, and effectively report about quality performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Train and develop team members


Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical disciplines
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in furniture industry
  • Expertise in quality processes, procedures and tools in furniture production
  • Knowledge of US regulatory and safety requirements
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel frequently
  • Experience in auditing suppliers/factory partners
  • Good command of English
  • Responsible and meticulous at work
