RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead research on instructional design (ID) theories and models, changing curriculum requirements and evolving student learning objectives and outcomes in the context of Vietnam, and cognitive processes by and across age-groups to determine, document, and refine the most relevant pedagogical approach(es) / strategy(ies)for offline, online, and / or blended learning;
  2. Lead the development of a technology enhanced learning (TEL) strategy including (but limited to) the: relevant teaching / learning tools, systems, and products; pedagogical approach and curriculum (re) design and the development of learning materials / content and modules that mesh with the changing learning needs, objectives, and requirements of students; and the delivery, monitoring, and measurement of results against stated learning objectives in collaboration with various cross-functional stakeholders;
  3. Drive the customization of course content and delivery methods across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities in Vietnam and manage the planning and budgeting processes, implementation, and monitoring activities associated with new courseware requests;
  4. Collaborate with functional groups to define and implement effective content development, review processes, and internal workflows, relevant course and module-specific success metrics (linked to student outcomes), the implementation of best-in-class course development guidelines and LMS / training delivery systems and document management methodologies, and the design and deployment of an effective customer feedback system, tools, and associated standard operating procedures (SOPs); and
  5. Drive the design of a robust monitoring / reporting framework and output design focused on identifying, quantifying, and triaging actionable insights and trends at a course, module, and student / teacher level and opportunities for additional programs and / or revisions to existing programs, modules, products, course content / structure, as well as channel strategy for the dissemination of success-related information to students, parents, and teachers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  1. MA/PhD in English Teaching/ Linguistics or Education Management
  2. 5+ years of senior managerial experience
  3. Proven experience as a R&D Director or similar managerial role in a large scale education
  4. Deep and solid knowledge of English training field
  5. Keen on implementing new and high technologies into Education
  6. A strong strategic and business mindset
  7. Excellent project mangement skill
  8. Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  9. Outstanding communication/presentation and interpersonal abilities
