- Develop and implement sales strategy.
- Build up an effective sales team by recruitment and continuously training, coaching and monitoring the sales team.
- Secure competitive ocean and air freight
- Generate revenue from freight forwarding as well as the other service offerings by the company e.g. warehouse, local delivery, IOR, project cargo etc.
- Ensure that the sales team works closely with the logistics solutions team to follow up on logistics sales leads
- Identify and secure customers with larger scale logistics/projects
- Any other duties as assigned or required
a/ Experience and Qualifications:
- University degree in Logistics, Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years in freight forwarding industry position and 2 years with management level.
- Have logistics experience is preferred
- Able to communicate well as a sales person
- Demonstrate capability in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Basic power point skills
- Fluent in English communication both in written and oral.
- Ability to converse in Chinese is preferred.
