- Partner with Smart Residential Operations to establish sound plant operation performance KPIs and continue improvement process;
- Evaluate plant operation performance against defined KPIs and track plant operation performance;
- Lead the feasibility study of the business model for new product(s) launch, VA/VE initiatives, plant automation projects, productivity program and other strategic investments;
- Lead initiatives in driving reduction of product cost and reduce working capital burn through improve inventory turn and negotiate a better payment terms;
- Collaborate with plant operations team on the inventory analysis, review, and control including lead time, inventory turns and inventory level control and reviews
- Ensure timely track, monitor and billing of the R&D project cost
- Lead team to ensure timely completion of monthly closing & financial performance review, weekly forecast, quarterly financial forecasts, and annual final plan.
- Conduct quarterly Balance Sheet Review and timely completion of all follow up actions;
- Manage all Finance related activities to support the Smart Residential
- Conduct periodic review and analysis of plant operation as well as identify opportunity to improve efficiency and productivity of the plant;
- Work closely with operation team to review contracts for (1) material purchases, (2) new and/or renew real estate leases, (3) disposition of properties and scrap materials and (4) leasehold improvement projects to optimize cash-flow and payback as well as minimize operating cost and contract T&Cs exposure;
- Support business review presentations, with in-depth understanding of financial and business issues;
- Maintain appropriate Financial Control environment including maintaining books and records, reconciliations, journals, month end close in accordance with Company guideline;
- Supervise and motivate all Finance talents within the Smart Residential Finance team and ensure team collaborate to drive the much needed improvement for the GC&SEA Division;
- Cultivate strong working relationships within the Smart Residential, GC&SEA Finance and all relevant regional teams within the Group;
- Lead with a strong compliance and integrity mindset.
• 10+ years of experience with multi-national company in the capacity of Operation Finance within the manufacturer environment;
• Degree in Finance or Accounting, CMA/MBA preferred or equivalent local professional qualifications;
• Professional experience - familiarity with IFRS and local accounting/tax obligations;
• Sound business acumen and quantitative & analytical skills with a good detail orientation;
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task;
• Execution focused, ability to set and meet aggressive goals and objectives;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Demonstrated success in a project leadership role, with the strong ability to influence key stakeholders;
• Change agent and embrace process changes;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• Fluent in both English and Vietnam is a must;
