Main responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating and providing logistical support for events such as seminar programmes, webinars, in-house client training and client entertainment;
- Understanding the firm’s brand positioning and values, and ensuring all marketing activities reflect this;
- Understanding competitor activity and providing recommendations as to how this may affect the success of our marketing activities;
- Maintaining client information, as well as managing and co-ordinating client communications for all events and publications;
- Inputting and collating marketing expenditure and maintaining an accurate record of all payments, as well as the return on investment;
- Playing an active role in the collation of materials for pitches and presentations to clients as required;
- Co-ordinating the updating and production of brochures, newsletters and other written publicity materials and relevant mailing lists (internal and external materials), as well as the marketing database;
- Drafting directory submissions and managing/co-ordinating the directory process;
- Maintaining our firm’s website;
- Managing and promoting our firm’s digital marketing platform (including our social media profile; co-ordinating and updating blogs, etc.);
- Handling both internal and external enquiries (including from other members of the firm, clients/potential clients, the media and external providers) and dealing with them directly and professionally;
- Ensuring that information about key opportunities, including outcome, feedback and follow-up actions are recorded appropriately on our firm’s system;
- Assisting with marketing administrative duties and take responsibility for ad hoc marketing initiatives.
- Developing and leading implementation of strategies which ensure the best practice of our firm and positioning our firm as the premier commercial law firm in the Vietnam legal market;
- Developing and assisting in the implementation of marketing initiatives as well as business development and client relationship activities of our firm;
- Developing and implementing a proactive and successful client management programme;
- Developing and managing annual business plans identifying key activities, priorities and risks;
- Conducting market analysis and research for key business development initiatives and client targeting;
- Evaluating market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plan changes as appropriate;
- Attending relevant networking events to develop and maintain a network of relevant relationships.
Desirable skills/personal qualities:
- University post-graduate with marketing qualification is highly desirable;
- Upwards of 10 years of experience in a marketing communications and/or business development role in a professional services or partnership environment firms (law firms, accounting/auditing, finance/banking service and investment funds, etc.);
- Experience working with stakeholders and developing relationships;
- CRM skills are highly desirable;
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work to deadlines and deal with a number of projects simultaneously;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- High degree of attention to detail and well-organised;
- Self-motivated, independent, able to work with a minimum of supervision;
- Ability to lead, use initiative and be proactive;
- Matured attitude and ability to collaborate with others;
- Flexible, friendly and outgoing personality;
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and all forms of social media.
