Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing Soil investigations.
  • Input on feasibility studies in terms of piling/substructure requirements.
  • Managing piling and test pile tenders.
  • Input in design meetings on sub structure and structural strategies.
  • Reviewing technical submissions and method statements for substructure construction in terms of value, safety, schedule, quality and practicality.
  • Managing test pile and piling works. 
  • Managing Substructure construction.
  • Input during superstructure construction.
  • Advising the requirements for tests and surveys during the design stage.
  • Reviewing results of tests, surveys etc and advising necessary action.
  • Reviewing settlement results of all projects. 
  • Coordinating with local authorities and neighbors during test-pile and piling stage.
  • Ensuring contractors and PMC have closed out all their obligations during piling and 
  • Value engineering
  • Risk management.

Qualifications & Experience:
 
Education Required
  • University Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Fluent in English.

Required Skills/Experience
  • At least five (10) years of continuous experience in the construction industry, with exposure to Hotel and high rise 
  • Has been directly involved from the start until completion of the construction of hospitality, residential, commercial development projects as project manager, or construction manager.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Computer, MS Office, MS Project and some experience with Autocad software.
  • Experience with Acconex, Asite, Conject or any similar Project Management system is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with all FIDIC Contract Documents, Mail/ Correspondence Types and Project Management Forms.
  • Knowledge of key hotel systems (IT system, PMS, Key MEP systems etc.) preferred

Other requirements: Role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm but must be able to work for extended hours of the night and even during Saturdays and Sundays as required by the Project.
