PRIMARY PURPOSE: |
Manage the reliability test for the qualification of products manufactured mainly in Vietnam plant. The test engineer shall ensure smooth operation of laboratory by seeking continuous improvement of reliability efficiency, capability, and technology. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. |
Establish a reliability lab system and to review test methods including the appropriate evaluation method and the enhancement of test efficiency. |
2. |
Assist the manager to maintain the laboratory to the best safety and operating condition (Facility, Test equipment, Safety, 5S, etc.). |
3. |
Create the best test plan considering Product/Process risks to eliminate these risks before the product release. |
4. |
Review reliability lab reports to support new product development and to ensure integrity of report and compliance to reliability lab system. |
5. |
Prepare and implement the reliability test according to schedule and to speed up the qualification process for on-time product release. |
6. |
Analyze test results and lead to determining the root cause of defects, safety risks, and performance problem. |
7. |
Coordinate the technical efforts with the related plant engineer and the design center team. |
8. |
Source and coordinate external lab test in cases where there is no internal capability or capacity. |
9. |
Carry out any task or project assigned by the management. |
