KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Instruct on English Language courses at Centre for Student Management and Cadres Training, Ministry of Defence, Nguyen Van Cu street, Gia Lam, Ha Noi
Participate in the conduct and administration of courses and workshops;
Provide input into the design and development of curricula
Teach of English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL) course materials and on-line learning materials
Undertake other associated duties as required by the Director of Studies (DOS) or the Defence Cooperation Education Officer (DCEO).
REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
University degree
TESOL/CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
At least two years of ESL teaching is preferred and beginner teachers need not apply
Native English speaker
Be able to meet Vietnamese regulations to obtain a work permit – must bring your original degree, teaching certificates and police clearance certificate with you
Notarized work history
PREFERENCE
Experience in teaching English for adults with reputable organizations
Experience in teaching IELTS (Academic) preparation courses
REMUNERATION
Average VND 780,000 per teaching hour
Social insurance, medical insurance provided
Teaching adults and during daytime only
Local costs paid for work permit/visa
12 annual leave days per year

AVAILABILITY
20-25 hours/week; from 01 January to 31 December 2021 with the possibility for extension.
