Preventing errors in company/supplier production that leads to product defects. Ensuring process and quality flow are being executed per company policies. Make sure on time and good quality delivery.

Report to QA Manager

Quality Assurance Job duties:

·         Working together with Quality Assurance (QA) team to access product problems & brainstorm solutions.

·         To work with china Company & Factory QA team on for things like approval process, testing, training and passing of customer information

·         Checking that the raw material or components involved in the production are of suitable quality

·         Inspecting production machinery and employees to make sure the production process runs smoothly

·         Investigating causes of defects that occur during production and setting proper process to ensure same occurrence doesn’t happen again.

·         Communicating with quality control about existing defects and how to prevent them in future.

·         Reporting discovered defects to all relevant departments

·         Doing follow up to quality multiple quality issues being raised daily

·         Maintains data of the findings and action taken to prevent qualities issues

·         Training QC and suppliers on Company process and expectations on systems, policies & procedures

·         Ensuring quality and production are co-running smoothly

·         Oversees inspections are done per protocols set

·         Report to QA manager and merchandiser team if any delivery issues or quality issues

Experience

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in textile industry as QA or QC

• Good knowledge of knits & cut sew process

• Familiar with Basic computer packages

• Technical knowledge either in knitting or sewing process

• Thoroughness and good communication skills

• English language preferred
