Core Responsibilities:

The People Operations & Development Manager role covers 2 main responsibilities:

1) People Partnering with a selected business area within the South East Asia Manufacturing

2) People Operations Lead securing smooth daily HR operations for the South East Asia Manufacturing

The role will be based on our South East Asia Manufacturing site in Vietnam and report to the Head of South East Asia Partnering & Operations. This role will work very closely with Global CoEs, our Shared Service Center, as well as other People Operations Leads and PO&D Partners across the region.

·       Accountable for implementation of end to end people agenda, coach and sparring partner, focusing on driving performance and team effectiveness for a functional leadership team

·       Secure strong deployment and impact of HR core processes and supports leadership team in org design, talent management and engagement agenda

·       Create a solid foundation for SEA People Operations in strong collaboration with the Business Enabling Project stream including processes such as employee masterdata, time & absence and payroll

·       Contributing with strong knowledge and experience from HR Operations practices within South East Asia with a special focus on Vietnam including labour market legislation and practices

·       Project leadership and coordination

 

How this role support us:

COMPANY is building a brand-new factory in Vietnam. The role is critical to helping support the SEA Factory new build. There will be challenges coordinating the efforts from Europe and Asia, to get the factory started on time. We will have only a temporary office to start with and a very small team of expats and a few local hires.

Operations & Development (PO&D) organisation includes 4 main areas: Talent, Reward & Insights, Diversity & Inclusion and Partnering & Operations function.

Partnering & Operations organization covers HR (PO&D) Business partnering and also local operations that includes employee relations, benefits, policies and execution. The partnering organization is responsible for developing and deploying the people & culture agenda in line with TLG strategic direction. The operations organization serves as a backbone to enable the partners and the business in providing relevant solutions on people processes respecting geographical and site nuances.

The SEA Partnering & Operations team reports to the Global Partnering & Operations leader.

Requirements:

·       Masters in business administration or relevant Bachelors degree

·       Extensive HR Qualification

·       5-8 years’ experience as HR Professional working hands-on with back office functions and as HR adviser for managers

·       Experience in working in a global matrix organization and international exposure

·       Solid knowledge and understanding of local labour market legislation and practices

·       Capable of establishing and managing good relations to many different units and people at all levels in the organisation

·       Business understanding and some experience within project work and project tools

·       Open minded, structured, and a strong collaborative mindset

·       Strong stakeholder management

·       Experience with working with backend operations/ employee relations/ collaboration with BSO

·       Fluent English oral and writing

·       Proficient in using Microsoft Office

·       Networks linked with HR
