​Core Responsibilities:

·       Support projects for major expansion projects on behalf of GWP Engineering & Digitalization in collaboration with colleagues at factories globally.

·       Support with design and installation of the factory in Sout East Asia.

·       Support all sites with knowledge and project support in relation to own expertise.

·       Participation in projects and collaboration with suppliers and authorities.

·       Support discovery of new technologies and solutions to be implemented

·       Auditing processes, standards and policies to ensure that they are followed.

·       Training of colleagues within mechanical area.

How this role support us:

COMPANY is building a brand-new factory in Vietnam. The role is critical to helping support the SEA Factory new build. There will be challenges coordinating the efforts from Europe and Asia, to get the factory started on time. We will have only a temporary office to start with and a very small team of expats and a few local hires.

Engineering & Digitalization is part of Global Workplace Projects where we are responsible for large scale construction projectets and other utility related projects. ENG&DIG is responsible for thetechnical aspects e.g. supply concepts, MEP disciplines, building management systems and fire safety. We develop, maintain and innovate our global standards and apply them in the projects worldwide.

The team consist of 25 people (mainly engineers), with a broad diversity in functional fields and experience. The team supports both operation and projects at all sites globally. As Mechanical manager you will ensure the best practise solutions are implemented at the new factory in South East Asia.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor or Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering and related.

·       3-5 years experience in consumer packaged goods, plus 2 year of digitial content marketing.

·       Other consideration to include: Travel, Work Authorizations/Sponsorships, and or specific niche functional or industry experience required.

·       English at advanced level, both oral and written (C1)

·       5 years working experience within some of following areas, both theoretical and practical:

·       Mechanical setup (e.g. cooling, heating, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment and control systems) installations for international clients

·       Experience of project management

·       Familiarity with international standards and practices in engineering design and installations

·       Experience in international engineering and local design institute

·       Experience in energy management systems like e.g. BMS, energy key or similar data analysis system.

·       Experience of mechanical related automation control strategy

·       Experience of local standards and regulations within own area of expertise.

·       Preferably experience from a global organization working across cultures and countries 

·       Achieved the competences to analyze a difficult issue, not necessarily in own field of expertise, and make a recommendation for a solution.

·       Be able to execute written reports at a high level for distribution across the organization.

·       References showing achieved results in an equivalent position.

·       Good people skills, easily builds up relationships / network to stakeholders and colleagues.

·       Analytical and tactical skills.

·       Base will be in South East Asia, but posting on other sites for shorter and longer periods must be expected

·       Posting in Shanghai for a period of 6-8 weeks must be expected as part the onboarding plan for the position.

·       Expected traveling 50-70 days a year.
