Overall Objectives

The QC coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the manufacturers, supply chain and Water Lab to collect samples from production, organize and perform tests for water filtration products to ensure they all align with the specified quality standards relating to microbiological, physiochemical and mechanical performance before releasing.

This position is also responsible to provide training, supervise suppliers’ quality testing on site as well as to address quality issues related to product performances and/or customer’s complaints if any.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate with the manufacturers, supply chain to collect water filtration samples for QC testing based on production schedule and/or dispatching plan
• Organize and conduct microbiological (bacteria/viruses/cysts) and physiochemical analyses (pH, turbidity, chlorine, etc.) as well as mechanical tests for the water filtration products
• Supervise and double check product testing at the suppliers on site
• Train and coach Lab technicians of the suppliers to perform mechanical, microbiological and physiochemical tests when needed
• Participate QC inspection of the finished goods, semi-products and raw materials upon request
• Follow up product dispatching plan to ensure every order is tested and inspected on time as well as met all quality standards before releasing
• Address quality issues and/or customer’s complaints if any
• Meet deadlines for results/reports submission

Education & Experience

• Hold a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or food technology
• Be experienced in microbiological testing in food/water/drug related fields with minimum 02-year experience
• Be experienced with laboratory safety procedures, laboratory equipment and test set-up
• Be at experience with ISO 17025, GMP or relevant standards
• Be at experience in chemical testing and QC inspection is an advantage
• Good at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with internet applications such as Email, Search engine, Zoom, Zalo, etc.)
• Good at English communication, reading and writing
• Speaking Korean is an advantage
