1. Key responsibilities:
  • Support the long- and short-term SEA regional Apparel & Equipment material supply strategy for all brands factoring in footprint movements, supply models, lead times, profitability, sustainable materials, brand and sourcing needs
  • Ensure reliable delivery of apparel & equipment material on time for production by working closely with material suppliers and finished goods vendors
  • Partner cross-functionally with Materials Labs, Sourcing and Quality team in managing all aspects of apparel & equipment material quality from establishing guidelines to delivering product to factories
  • Support Material Team by leading resolution of quality issues at factories and with vendors in collaboration with Sourcing and Quality teams.
  • Increase leverage of the model through decisions supported by facts and data that will in turn support the apparel & equipment material supply strategy
  • Report and monitor supplier performance using set scorecards for active performance management
  • Responsible for managing all apparel & equipment supplier relationship and building supplier partnerships in the brands
  • Partner with functional leaders on Compliance and Social Responsibility, to ensure standards and requirements are met within the group’s material supply
  • Actively support sustainable material roadmaps through identification of supplier capabilities, capacities and innovative sustainable alternatives
  • Work cross-functionally in selection of global and local suppliers and materials that support material and manufacturing strategies and Product Development objectives.
  • Accountable for all people related activities such as hire, train, manage and develop the talent in the team
