Reporting to the senior director and head of government and public affairs, Asia Pacific, you will join a high performing team of government affairs professionals who are passionate about the company and its values, work hard and enjoy having fun together. Core Responsibilities
Develop sustainable strategies for construction projects and drive implementation
On- site support for upcoming new factories and extensions in Asia region
Act as external oversight to ensure sustainability stays top of the project agenda at strategic and tactical level
Support Steering Committies, project team and contractors.
Develop a strong network of internal stakeholders and influencers
Enable strategic interactions with leading industry stakeholders to ensure we deliver the most advanced projects
Monitor and analyse relevant regulations, anticipate implications for construction phase and end use operations
Respond to government authorities where necessary and support compliance issues as required
Environmental Responsibility (ER) is a globally based team of functional experts and thought leaders seeking to create real impact both inside and outside the company.
Requirements
MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, sustainability or similar
Master Degree preferred
At least 5-year experience in the construction industry with a focus on sustainability
Experience with factory and construction related issues within Vietnam and the South East Asian region
Functional knowledge of building codes and sustainable construction frameworks e.g. LEED
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You have a network of stakeholders in the region and are a natural in developing new stakeholder relationships.
Fluency in English and Vietnamese is a must.
You have experience in multi country and functional collaboration.
Travel up to 50 days per year
