1. Duties:
- Set company technical vision and lead company’s technological development
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Help the company employ new technologies profitably
- Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of technical services
- Ensure technology standards and best practices are met
- Monitor web analytics and making recommendations that align to business goals (what is the data source? We might need to this item)
- Monitor performance profiling tools and procedures
- Review time-frames and project costs
- Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
- Ensure company’s technological processes and services comply with requirements, laws, and regulations
- Ensure company’s is properly staffed at all times
- 30% travel requirement, inclusive of domestic and international
2. Requirements:
a/ Technical:
- Ability to quickly assimilate new technologies
- Advanced technological skill set and demonstrated history with technology
b/ Education/Experience level:
- 15 years of experience in a leadership position
- BS in technical field
- MS, MBA and PhD valuable but not required
