MAIN PURPOSE
- Support Regional Office as SAP maintenance and support Center.
- Provides Application Managed Service (AMS) in APAC region for the various enterprise applications (SAP FICO, CONCUR, POS Interface, etc), troubleshoot and resolve issues & requests within targeted SLA.
- This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the business environment to achieve expected business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as point of contact to analyse and fix application and system issues in RTR / Record to Report (FICO) area, ensuring SAP services are available and reliable to meet business expectation.
- Support month end or year-end closing activities, proactively monitor and take actions to prevent erroneous postings, wherever applicable.
- Manages incidents reported by user and follow-up promptly with RCA and CAPA approach and industry best practices
- Recommend workarounds/interim solution in accordance with business process guidelines.
- Work closely with different teams (e.g.: SAP Basis, security, and external system’s vendor) to ensure issues and requests are addressed timely.
- Assist business users in gathering requirement and preparation of Change Request application.
- Assist in Change Request or SAP implementation Roll-out by preparing test script/ test scenario or conduct/coordinate or support users in carrying out User Acceptance/Regression Test
- Participate in deployment to production and post deployment support.
- Communicate to business stakeholders/users on new deployments.
- Provide training to end users or crash-course to new joiner on ad-hoc basis.
- Provide support for internal System Audit, Financial Audit of System authorization queries.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in I.T, Computers or related field
- SAP ECC 6.0/S4 HANA experience.
- Well-developed, understanding and working experience on SAP FICO modules such as General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, Consolidation, Special Purpose Ledger, Cost element / Cost center / Profit Center Accounting, Internal orders, Product Cost controlling, Profitability Analysis areas.
- Strong knowledge on integration between logistics modules with FI/CO.
- Should be fluent with business processes associated with the use of SAP and comfortable with product costing, manufacturing business terms and concepts.
- Integration experiences with other legacy or 3rd party systems.
- Effectively communicates technical concepts to users and business concept to tech team
- Set, manage expectations, handle difficult/sensitive situation tactfully and defuse tension
- Possess basic knowledge of SAP authorization troubleshooting.
- Must be able to multi-task, work independently as well as a team player and manage own workload under tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Possess good analytic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well on cross functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good spoken English. Ability to speak other languages will be an added advantage. Example, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia, Thai, Japanese, Korean etc
