Lab Technologist

Develop textile testing method:
Adapt standard test methods (ISO/ASTM…etc) to products;
Write SOPs, validate the test method and conduct training to lab technician.
Conduct textile testing in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
To identify the suitable tests and conduct the test using various equipment (tensiometer, bursting strength, standard wascator…), using relevant ISO or ASTM standard methods and prepare test report
To develop textile testing methods and/ or work with external laboratory for sub-contracting tests and validate international test methods for textile
To maintain lab equipment and to train lab technicians, lab assistant and QC staff of suppliers on testing method.
Discuss with technical partners the suitable tests, service
Be textile testing expert to vector products through scouting technological solutions through designing, coordinating, collecting, and discussing the findings, analyzing data, and reporting to project leader

Hold relevance college degree in Garment or Textile
Have minimum 2 years’ experience in Textile in manufacturing setting or technical setting
Have experience in textile testing and ISO IEC 17025 is an asset
Be familiar experience with lab equipment is an advantage
