KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching English (to adults) at a military establishment in Hanoi.

• Participating in the conduct and administration of courses and workshops.

• Providing input into the design and development of existing curricula.

• Teaching TESOL and online learning materials.

• Undertaking other associated duties as required by the Director of Studies (DOS) or the Defence Cooperation Education Officer (DCEO).

REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• University degree

• TESOL/CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification.

• At least two years of ESL teaching.

• Native English speaker or IELTS Band 7 for non-native speaking teachers.

• Be able to meet Vietnamese regulations to obtain a work permit.

• Be able to provide copies of relevant qualifications.

• Experience in teaching IELTS (Academic) preparation courses is highly preferred.

REMUNERATION

• Hourly rate for IELTS classes is 855,943 VND

• Hourly rate for standard classes is 786,542 VND

• 12 annual leave days per year

AVAILABILITY

• Working week consists of a maximum of five hours per day (8 AM - 3 PM), two to three days per week (Monday to Friday).
