Job description:

  • Master proper product knowledge; understand the expectation from US head office through product standards, specification, approved samples and testing requirement/protocols to support operations at factory partners
  • Identify requirements of US head office about standards, specification, approved samples and testing requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring of production management, quality management, quantity management, material management effectively and smartly as well as meeting business demands
  • Comprehensively apply product technical knowledge to evaluate production setup, business process, running performance and bottlenecks
  • Identify key bottlenecks in production and risky in operations, come up with better solutions to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity
  • Constantly monitor factory partners to make sure that production targets are achieved with acceptable quality level and on time delivery
  • Comprehensively assess and monitor factory partners’ quality management system, give standardized directions and company procedures for quality assurance and production, operation activities at factory partners
  • Ability to review data and conduct statistical analysis of factory quality and production performance from technical, quality and engineering perspective
  • Keep close liaison with US head office, factory partners and other related departments to ensure smooth working
  • Follow and validate factory partners’ accountability to corrective and sustainable action plans based on factory assessment and inspection’s findings


Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or technical disciplines
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in furniture industry
  • Expertise in production management, quality assurance processes, procedures and tools
  • In depth knowledge of US regulatory and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Able to travel frequently
  • Fluent in English
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
