A. Requirements
Educational Level: University or higher
Specialty/Qualification:
− A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation or equivalent.
− Basic knowledge in refinery processes
− Knowledge for Electrical and Instrument equipment, working principle.
− Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum / petrochemical plant materials and equipment.
− Knowledgeable with hazardous classification and ex-proof equipment
Work Experience:
− 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control of spare parts for Instrument equipment, electrical equipment in Oil & Gas Refining, Power Plant or Petrochem Industry .
Skills:
− Report writing and presentation skills.
− Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
− Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
− Familiar with CMMS Maximo and SAP is plus.
− Good communication and coordination skill.
− Knowledge of Shell MESC system is a plus.
− Knowledge of Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) is a plus.
B. Purpose
QC-E&I Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of inspections and verifications of incoming, surplus/stocked spare parts/materials that are used for Maintenance-Electrical and instrument equipment.
C. Responsibility.
− Responsible for all spare parts of Electrical and instrument equipment in the Refinery – QA/QC of incoming material – technical standard specification
− Review to update existing procedure and develop new procedure
− Review/verify specification, data of materials
− Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications
− Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
− Coordinate with end user and relevant department to completing the inbound receiving shipment
− Ensure that all inspection requirements have been fulfilled satisfactorily according to final approved drawings/contract/purchase order.
− Coordinate with end user to develop the preservation method for Instrument equipment’s spare parts
− Check the stocking condition of mechanical spare parts and provide the advise/solution/recommendation stocking and preservation standard.
− Perform the work assigned by warehouse manager and warehouse leader.
