SALES DIRECTOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initialize and implement annual sales plans by both unit and gross-profit standards, and examine the trends and outcomes that emerge from these.
- Initiate marketing strategies that boost unit and gross sales at the national, regional and local levels and analyze the efficacy of these strategies.
- Create sales goals by predicting appropriate sales figures for various areas and groupings, and predict sales figures for both potential products and existing products.
- Work with the sales team to implement regional sales programs that are modeled after successful national sales programs and field sales.
- Monitor sell through and inventory by SKU, create real-time visibility across all stores network, circulate stock to maximize the non-discount sales.
- Motivate sales team members to comply with all appropriate rules and regulations and meet daily, monthly and annual sales goals.
- Hire, choose, train and assign all sales team members.
- Identify positive sales team results and maintain these outcomes through motivation and incentive programs, and identify and resolve any negative outcomes
- Oversee and build sales, budgets, projections costs and overhead.
- Define business plan and retail roadmap by working with management and Elise stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong retail industry experience gained from within progressive international businesses
- Successful track record in achieving sales targets; mentoring and managing a retail sales team
- Prior experience managing a complicated multi - SKU product portfolio
- Some experience & familiarity of in store planning, including new store development & existing store improvement plans; merchandise planning; and inventory planning & management including replenishment, logistics.
- Demonstrated ability in managing retail managers and staff, including training, KPI setting and monitoring for a large number of stores
- Developing benchmarks for service quality and other retail performance metrics
- Ability to design and implement appropriate sales management tools, processes and metrics; develops and agrees on the optimum operations and organization structure to support business expansion.
- Clear and strong understanding of the Vietnamese market, culture, ways of working and language
- Experience helping to shaping a growth strategy & the leadership to drive growth.
- Track record in driving organization change and professional culture with a growth agenda
- Works with stakeholders to effect the changes and improvements.
- Vietnamese & English proficiency, with the ability to enjoy and thrive in a role that requires complex stakeholder management.
