RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform market scan and search of manufacturers based in Vietnam who produce printed packaging materials

• Initial assessment of potential manufacturer’s capabilities to meet our company and product requirements, e.g. company ethics, product quality, export capabilities

• Deliver short list of manufacturers, including relevant contact names and details, company profile description and their capabilities

• Provide weekly clear updates and documentation of the conducted search activities and progress made

• Support the communication between us and potential vendors

• Orchestrate the successful execution and support in logistics of sending product samples

• Create a basic cost comparison for a standardized product and use that template to collect pricing info for identified manufacturers

• Support negotiation and contracting of vendor(s) in case of successful manufacturer selection and approved sample production

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-7 years of experience in sourcing and/or supply market research.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain or related field

• Fluent in Vietnamese and excellent command of English both in writing and verbally.

• Willing and able to travel frequently within Vietnam to visit manufacturers and fairs.

• Full access to a working area, i.e. at home, including laptop, internet and telephone.

• Proven track record of reliability and trustworthiness
