RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee mining and TSF activities to ensure they are being carried out in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure mining and TSF activities are done to design and on schedule
• Maintain ready supply of ore to the process plant
• Train and mentor the subordinates
• Weekly, monthly production report
• Provide input for the monthly mining schedule compilation
• Are inspection as required
• Provide input for and assist with quarterly production forecast
• Provide input and assist with annual budget

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• University graduate of metalliferous mining; quarry manager ticket
• Broad knowledge of earthworks particularly with open pit mining in a high production environment as well as TSF construction experience. South knowledge of D&B techniques
• English, computer (Surpac, SAP, MS office)
• Broad knowledge of earthworks particularly with open pit mining in a high production environment as well as TSF construction experience. Machine operate skills a distinct advantages
