POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing metal working fluid tests in laboratory.

Manage technical service team on current customer service and new project testing

Organize, analyze, document and communicate test data to others as well as play a significant role in troubleshooting customer problems.

Reporting to APAC Technical Service Manager and dotted line to Sales Manager.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Works under the direction of APAC Technical Service Manager and Sales Manager

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

VN Technical Service team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

University degree in (Organic) Chemistry or related;

1-2 years of related working experience;

Experience with awareness of international safety and quality expectations and standards;

Experience and expertise in evaluation and interpretation of test results is an advantage;

Good command of reading and written English;

Good computer skills;

High problem-solving skill, analytical/ observation skills;

Responsible and can-do working attitude;

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

1. Sample Testing and Report

- Receive, collect as well as process Metal Working Fluid samples.

- Perform routine and non-routine tests as required.

- Log and report test results.

- Document all tests on provided system.

- Update MSDS and D&I in Vietnamese version.

2. Technical Service in plant of customer.

- Provide front line technical support to customer and sale staff including problem solving, troubleshooting and application advice.

- Manage the service plan of technical service team - plan, organize, schedule and supervise the day to day technical service operations and make periodical reports to Sales Manager.

- Manage, plan, monitor and collect trial data for new project

- Manage and training for all the technical service, i.e. equipment, on the job training, etc.

- Measure, monitor and maintain customer service and satisfaction

3. Preventative maintenance for Laboratory equipment.

- Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary

- Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area
