JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Establishing the standard Supply Chain Policy, operation process and performance KPIs in compliance
  • Provide the required Finance support including setting up the new legal entity, review of contracts, track & monitor the progress capex spending of plant construction and setup;
  • Work closely with Finance Director to build the Plant Finance team in accordance to the organization structure;
  • Partner with Plant Operation team to establish standard product costing (including project cost estimation) and provide timely insights of costing variances;
  • Drive operation and Finance team to fully comply with Accounting policy and ERP utilization requirements;
  • Manage the plant month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process and prepare monthly operation performance reports including the relevant variance analysis;
  • Develop and implement budgeting and financial reporting systems to provide timely and relevant plant financials;
  • Develop plant operating budget, quarterly financial planning estimates as well as production;
  • Identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives as well as executing the planned cost control actions
  • Manages the deployment of cost saving and other programs to improve operating performance. Monitors and provides opportunities to support continuously improving Plant Productivity;
  • Ensure adequate costing and accounting process in place, including standard cost updates, physical inventory verification, periodic cycle counts, CIP and FA physical count, detect risky control deficiencies;
  • Work closely with the purchasing team in vendor management, to balance sourcing risk and opportunity;
  • Ensures plant quality policy and ERP program are thoroughly implemented in the finance function;
  • Evaluate plant capital requisition request supported by the in-depth analysis of the expected productivity, operation efficiency and saving. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure compliance for all significant capital investments;
  • Ensure adequate control to safeguard plant assets, documents and financial records;
  • Manage plant finance staff and provide timely coaching support staff career development;
  • Provide full support to all Compliance investigations and Audits;
  • Lead ad hoc projects as required including appropriate ERP implementations and system upgrades;
  • Lead with a strong compliance and integrity mindset.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA/CMA preferred or equivalent local professional qualifications;

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years professional experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus;

  • Familiar with IFRS GAAP, and local statutory requirements;

  • Strong leadership skills required to drive environment of continuous improvement;

  • Mature operation skills of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.);

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese;
