Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement a long-range fundraising strategy that ensures the company has access to the capital it needs.
  • Assume a leading role in structuring and re-structuring debt and equity related transactions for the company.
  • Serve as primary liaison to prospective investees/lenders and related services providers (i.e., investment banks, accountants, lawyers, and consultants, etc.)
  • Supervise ongoing fundraising projects and project team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of required deliverables and efficient closing of opportunities.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the performance of these various financial activities.
  • Formally review debt facilities and funding sources each quarter.
  • Review and monitor the company’s investment portfolio to ensure that each investment performs according to expectations and has the capital it needs to achieve its objectives. Work with investment teams to assist investee companies raise capital and/or divest holdings when needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and overseas banks and other financial institutions that can assist with sourcing funds.
  • Participate in the strategic planning process of the company.
  • Implement policies and procedures relating to investment, capital, and debt management.
  • Ensures adequate risk and compliance activities relating to the company’s debt commitments and capital structure are established and adhered.
  • Oversee the maintenance of, and compliance with, all contractual documents pertaining to funding and investment arrangements.

Requirements:
  • Vietnamese or foreign national with considerable local experience, preferred.
  • Master/bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Legal, Finance, or other relevant field, and/or a finance professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CFA.
  • 10+ years financial services/banking experience with at least four years of recent experience at manager level.
  • Experience working in multinational corporations.
  • Experience in managing assets and/or capital raising.
  • Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Excellent business sense, skilled at investigating tax and other issues early and plan accordingly
  • Competent working with regulatory officials, bankers, stakeholders, and finance executives.
