Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve business plan and distributor management objectives (budgets, distributor buffer, ranging & distribution, shelf management, promotional activity & trade partnerships)
  • Comparative analysis by distributor of sales results to actual vs budget and compared previous year
  • Develop and achieve agreed distributor operations objectives
  • Meet administrative guideline and time frames as required
  • Manage returns and collections
  • Maintain Forecast Accuracy
  • Mainly handling TWO Distributor with respective Sales Representatives
  • Coverage areas are ALL General Trade stores in allocated area and to be based in Distributor Office at HCMC
  • Plan & co-ordinate distributor sales team activities to achieve business plan & sales operation objective
  • Motivate & influence distributor to increase share of mind of Vinda brands
  • Monitor & grow distributor, wholesaler and general trade retailer business
  • Ensure compliance of promotional activities & 4 key areas
  • Effectively utilize trade investment for maximum return on sales
  • Develop, negotiate, implement and monitor promotional programs with key weighted outlet
  • Develop and present quarterly distributor business reviews
  • Minimize out of stocks on shelf and display
  • Maximize the usage of all P.O.S. material on display and shelf or any prominent areas within the store
  • Optimize call coverage of defined territory so to maximize every opportunity
  • Allocate specific stores for merchandiser to maximize shelf and display filling which will minimize out of stocks & improve trade partnership
  • Develop strong relationships with the Retail Customer
  • Keep sales management informed of all COMPETITOR activities sighted
  • Maintain high standards for collections
  • Conduct monthly buffer stock count exercise

 

Job Requirements:

Educational/professional qualifications

  • Education: at least Diploma or College Certificate in business, Marketing or equivalent will be value-added
  • IT skill: MS office, Excel and Power point

 

Experience required

  • At least 2 to 3 years working experience in General Trade with Distributor Management experience in a dynamic FMCG industry
  • Good communication skill for both oral & written in English is an advance
  • Customer oriented. Willing to provide good service and commit to internal & external customer
  • Goal getter, result oriented, mature, tactful and committed with high degree of drive and integrity
  • Assertive, able to work under pressure & positive outlook
