Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation of analytical & reporting requirements: Modelling, Reporting, Dash boarding, mainly on the SAP Analytics platform (SAP-BW/BI/BO).
2. Ability to work with all aspects of the analytics platform from client side to configuring servers and building analytical solutions.
3. Assists with the creation and grooming of requirements and specifications for projects – both technical and functional. Helps architect and plan changes and enhancements to the analytical models.
4. Participates in data modelling and ETL design and maintenance.
5. Deploys code changes to different environments in a safe and reliable manner.
6. Performs extensive testing and defect analysis of analytical solutions and new rollouts.
7. The effective and efficient operation of the BW/BI productive environment, diagnoses issues (proactively when possible) and provides resolutions.
8. Monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of all data feed, reporting structures and users' credentials
9. Monitors applications for abnormalities, performance issues and continuously looks for areas to improve application availability and speed. Takes corrective action for errors and omissions.
10. Manages projects aligned with departmental objectives as well as cross-departmental initiatives.
11. Documents data models, system and business processes for the Analytics team.
12. Collaborates with other departments and external consultants on projects
13. Automates repetitive data related tasks for analysts and management.
14. Knowledge dissemination to Power/Key Users & business community
15. Train Key/Power Business Users
16. Build and prepare documentation and training materials
17. Organize, facilitate meetings and produce comprehensible minutes
18. Accountability:
    • Developing technology specifications and ensuring that new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness, and leveraging existing technologies when possible
    • Applying architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability
    • Maintain safe and stable operation
    • Keep required quality of service
    • Strict adherence to policies and procedures, in particular IT security policies.

 Job Requirements:

1. Educational Level —  University Graduated
2. Work Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing and maintaining Business Analytics solutions and/or MBA equivalent w/3 years’ experience.
  • 8+ years of related work experience in the Business Intelligence area
  • 5+ years of SAP BI/BO/BW implementation and migration experience
  • Working experience with SAP ECC (FI, CO, SD, MM) preferred.
  • Experience in designing SAP BI architecture, with multiple project experience in BW/BI/BO and BW on HANA, including SAP BI Integration and SAP BI interfaces as well as the implementation of SAP BI in Finance, controlling, Purchasing, manufacturing, Inventory & Sales;
  • Knowledge and experience in ETL functions, OLAP, data warehousing, and front-end tools such as Webi, Dashboard, Xcelcius and Lumira;
  • Extensive experience with BW/HANA Modelling concepts, scripting, optimization scenarios including hybrid scenarios, and performance tuning;

3. Specialty/Qualification — Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Accounting / Business / MIS / Computer Science.
4. Skills:
   • Strong business and analytical skills including direct interaction with business end users for requirements analysis
   • Guide the design and implementation of scalable, high performance enterprise analytics applications for mission critical solutions
   • Strong MS SQL database skillset. Must be able to write SQL queries and understand database concepts such as stored procedures, views and triggers.
   • Strong analytical & business acumen, specifically in Sales, Finance and Accounting
   • Strong MS Office, Expert level in MS Excel. Visual Studio/Macro experience nice to have.
