JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead a team of merchandisers to drive daily activities from pre-production samples approvals to shipment, especially in Cut & Sewn Knits & Woven children products.

• Closely monitor WIP, shipment booking, shipment closing, and escalate potential delivery issues to Hong Kong cross functional teams

• Partner with factories to investigate quality issues and testing failures with the ability to recommend a solution to management

• Educate vendors on quality standards, packaging information, and production issues and drive vendor management and performance

• Work closely with Hong Kong Sourcing, providing regular updates on in country production

• Ability to support technical design team through communicating changes in tech pack to vendors, from Fit to Top sample Manage sample quality for pre-production and top from vendors

• Maintain accurate and timely records in the system, e.g. ensure WIP is completed by vendors

• Training and coach merchandisers to strive for continuous improvement for team performance and efficiency

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor Degree with minimum 5 - 8 years relevant experience with Buying Office preferably for USA Brands

• Strong understanding of Cut & Sewn Knits & Woven children products mainly for infant or kids, familiar with USA / Canada market is a plus

• Familiar on production process and follow up with solution to tackle day to day issues

• Well-organized and strong communication skills with spoken and written English

• System Savvy and strong computer skills in Excel, Power Point & Word.
