II. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Overall manage operations of procurement, warehouse, material planning, import-export and delivery man.
  • Build a transparent, active, responsible and effective environment of SCM. Ensure the sufficient, quality, timely and economical supply to speed up the production and sales.
  • Searching and analyzing markets both local and overseas for reliable suppliers and best prices
  • Review supplier’s performance for specific commodities & develop new/alternative sources of supply; cost; materials availability, delivery times & price trends.
  • Building and optimizing a short term and long-term vendor base with vendor performance evaluation
  • Work with other departments to improve company policies and procedures. Help vendors set up policies and procedure to attain higher standards.
  • Develop policies and procedures to maximize cost saving opportunities.
  • Lead cost reduction projects in co-ordination with the R&D team. Lead cost reduction initiatives in all aspects of the company’s procurement and purchasing.
  • Be updated on all relevant government regulations on import/export/duties/VAT. Post-purchasing supports including customs clearance, liaison with forwarders and local deliverer.
  • Ensure that suppliers achieve 100% on time delivery and the required quality. 
  • Ensure purchasing activities strictly comply with Company’s safety & environmental regulations & policies. 
  • Control inventory aging, speed up stock turns, formulate action plans on slow moving inventory.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. 
  • Ensure POs are timely and properly maintained in the system. Ensure materials arrive in the correct quantity and timing according to production requirements.
  • Ensure all non-conformance are properly reported and documented. Support buyers in communicating charge-backs to vendor and ensure vendor acceptance.
  • Gross net need calculation of raw materials based on the production plan and analysis figures.
  • Plans the new orders and ensures the management of the orders.
  • Tightly liaises with the production manager.
  • Controls the shipping executive for all import/exports. 
  • Monitors the loading;
  • Monitors and accurately controls in inventory (stock state).
  • Liaises with the head office in Singapore for working, the shipping docs and ETDs.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Purchasing procedures
  • Improving the Payment terms and control the Days Payable Outstanding
  • Coordinate with sales team and planning to forecast the long lead time material. 
  • Make production loading plan & take activities concerning Logistics.
  • Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
  • Follow up and monitor sales orders in order to make shipping schedule.
  • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
  • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
  • Deal with Customers related to opening orders.
  • Deal with Customs Officer regarding customs declaration, liquidation

Requirements
  • Four-year university or master degree required in Social Sciences, Economics, Accounting, or business administration.
  • Experience in working with ERP-systems or SAP system.
  • Proficiency in English in 4 skills (listening. speaking, reading, writing)
  • Have high deal of integrity and a minimum of 5 years job experience with an international manufacturing company.
  • Proof of cost savings in previous companies.
  • Experience in FMCG (B2C or B2B) is preferable
