Responsibilities:
- Perform and review the accounting works for preparation of financial statements and other required reports in a timely and accurate manner;
- Prepare and review all statutory tax declaration i.e. VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT and other tax matters related;
- Prepare and review payroll for local and foreign employees, including calculation and declaration for PIT, SI, HI, UI
- Ensure that the accounting, tax and advisory services provided to clients are at the highest level on tax effectiveness, compliance with Vietnam current laws and regulations as well as be compatible with clients’ internal practices;
- Work with independent auditors during audit process and other third parties i.e. tax, customs, social insurance, suppliers, etc. on behalf of clients if required;
- Maintain good communication with clients, answer their questions and advise them for tax and accounting compliance and effectiveness;
- Identify significant issues/risks from daily transactions of client’s activities, timely raise the issues and propose solutions to the clients.
Job requirements:
- Certified graduate from universities in finance/accounting areas;
- CPA Accounting License is a must;
- Minimum 2+ years of working experience in accounting and tax practices for business process outsourcing or professional accounting services firms;
- Proven experience as team or project manager in a accounting consulting firm with international clients is a big plus as we are also looking for competent team leaders.
- Working experience with Singapore Accounting Standards, Singapore Accounting Certificates and/or working experience as Accountant in Singapore would also be a big plus.
- Proficient in current accounting software; access to relevant databases and authority portals, if any, is beneficial;
- Previous experience in international teams is a big plus;
- Good oral and written skills both, in English and Vietnamese;
