JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement production goals for the CNC team based on the workshop’s overall production plan and company objectives.
- Supervise and manage all operations of the CNC team, including personnel, technical matters, production capacity, quality, training, safety, and 5S practices.
- Support and guide technical team members to enhance their skills and meet production requirements.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and handle unexpected technical issues, promptly reporting major problems to management.
- Ensure effective implementation of TS/ISO quality management systems within the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and supervise team members to execute CNC production plans, ensuring team goals are met.
- Allocate tasks efficiently based on order priority, manpower availability, and machine status.
- Improve product quality, optimize machining processes, and enhance production efficiency while ensuring workplace safety.
- Select appropriate machines for new product machining, develop processing procedures, and plan tool usage.
- Demonstrate operations and provide technical training for CNC technicians; monitor training effectiveness and evaluate performance.
- Continuously optimize CNC programs and machining processes; share improvements during regular team meetings.
- Conduct daily safety and 5S checks to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Foster a cooperative and productive working environment; support team coordination and regularly report team status to management.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- Over 5 years of experience in CNC lathe machining, including at least 2 years in a team leader or shift supervisor role
- Proficient in independently troubleshooting CNC machine issues, modifying programs, changing products, and adjusting tools
- Skilled in using measurement tools: micrometers, calipers, gauges, 2D/3D measurement machines, gloss meters, and roughness testers
- High sense of responsibility, proactive attitude, strong communication and coordination skills
- Preferred: Experience operating Tsugami CNC lathes (BO123/124/125/126 models)
- Proficient in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing) with the ability to communicate directly with Chinese colleagues and supervisors.
