SALES ENGINEER
Location: Hanoi

SCOPE
Be responsible for the following duties relating to Sales issues:
1. Develop new potential customers and Service existing customers on the company's Press machines, accessories, etc… to Japanese companies (main customers) and other (foreign or local) customers in Vietnam.
2. Supporting Sales Manager in Sales issue.
3. Take care customers: visit them regularly, exchange information on market, customer’s needs and feedback to Management for strategy plan

RESPONSIBILITY
1. Responds to customer inquiries (inside) in areas not covered by distributors.
2. Receives, qualifies and distributes customer inquiries received through direct sources.
3. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the Sales related functions of the business information system.
4. Creates, implements and maintains technical information on product line and applications using materials supplied by other functional areas.
5. Prepares quotes using information provided by the Product Dept and Engineering Dept.
6. Establishes and maintains price lists, customer data base, and installed machine data base by working closely with Product/Segment Managers and Marketing Planning Manager.
7. Develops and maintains a computerized reporting system of Sales calls, orders, distributor activity, lost orders, etc.
8. Supports the Manager in preparing routine and complex customer orders, routing or responding to sensitive correspondence, and following up on internal sales matters.
9. Initiates appropriate follow-up action for customers and distributors at the request of Sales and Product/Segment Managers.
10.Develops and maintains procedure for initiating customer orders into the operations cycle. Produce clear, timely, and thorough Order Package for each customer order.
11.Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor or MBA , Electric or Mechanical.
Japanese: at least N2 (or equivalent) to communicate and discuss with Japanese PIC in Press machine sales.
English: good communication and writing skills in English (Company use English as internal language for regulations, meeting, reports, communication, etc…).
1. Three to five years of progressive experience in Sales or Marketing support positions, preferable in metal stamping products.
2. General knowledge of integrated business information systems.
3. In-depth knowledge of PC software including databases, spreadsheets, graphics, and word processing.
4. Working knowledge of Sales quotation and proposal process.
5. Working knowledge of supporting customers and sales associates by interfacing with at least two of the following: Manufacturing, Applications Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, and Marketing communications.
6. Ability to travel up to 15% or more.
7. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
