Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven VP Business Finance to lead the financial management of our unsecured loans product at an international bank. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the VP Business Finance will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and analysis to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans for the unsecured loans product to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead the development and management of financial models and forecasts for the product, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of the unsecured loans business, identifying key drivers of growth and profitability, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the product management team to develop and implement pricing strategies, ensuring the profitability of the product.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the CFO and senior management team, highlighting key trends and risks.
• Work closely with the risk management team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for the product.
• Collaborate with other departments, including operations, marketing, and legal, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to business performance management.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
• At least 10-15 years of relevant experience in finance, with a strong understanding of unsecured loans product and the financial services industry.
• Proven track record in leading and managing financial strategies and teams.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and identify key trends and drivers of business performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
