What does the total employer cost look like?

The total cost of employing someone in Vietnam typically includes the employee's gross salary, mandatory employer contributions (such as social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and trade union fees where applicable), and our service fee. We provide a transparent cost breakdown during the proposal stage so you have full visibility before making a decision.

Personal income tax (PIT) is deducted from the employee's salary and declared and remitted on their behalf in accordance with local regulations.

We don’t have a legal entity in Vietnam. Can you still employ our staff here?

Yes. Through our Employer of Record (EOR) service, Manpower Vietnam can act as the legal employer on your behalf. We manage employment contracts, payroll, statutory contributions, tax compliance, and other employment-related obligations in accordance with Vietnamese labor regulations.

Your employees work under your day-to-day direction, while we take care of the local employment administration and compliance requirements. This allows you to hire talent in Vietnam without establishing a local legal entity.

How does payroll work? When are employees paid?

We process payroll on a monthly basis according to the agreed salary structure and any attendance records, allowances, or other variable inputs. Employees are paid on the agreed payroll date, which can be aligned with your preferred payroll cycle.

Our team also handles personal income tax (PIT) declarations, statutory insurance contributions, and employee payslips, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll administration.
