Job Description:
- Evaluate and continuous improve manufacturing process by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials, bringing the lesson learned from previous designs as well as creative options allowing to manufacture and test products efficiently.
- Support factory for NPI and production with proven ability to identify problems and pursue plans toward their resolution.
- Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences
- Responsible for DOE and control run evaluation
- Responsible for process audit and continuous improvement of production process and yield to enhance cost effectiveness
- Work with QA team closely and support technical and QCC/kaizen activities.
- As the lead to represent Company from Manufacturing Engineering perspective to ODM locally, to ensure NPI and production projects are executed smoothly with ODM
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or relevant discipline
- At least 10 years work experience, with preferably more than 8 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment and in Multinational Corporation, professional in relevant manufacturing technology and lean manufacturing
- In depth understanding of manufacturing processes, automation and quality systems
- In-depth knowledge of failure & root cause analysis, process improvements, cost optimization and LEAN manufacturing
- Strong analysis skills
- Good experience with DOE
- Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Strong mechanical background – tolerance analysis, material knowledge, assembly process, etc..
- Independent thinking
- Very positive attitude – can do attitude, like taking challenge…
- Strong initiative
- Strong communication skills with fluency in Mandarin and English
