MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
  • Develop and lead the annual shopper marketing strategy and plans within our all channels. Create, or customize, programs that help our customers drive traffic, loyalty, and conversion. Leverage the Company s marketing properties against key brand initiatives to drive excitement with customers that leads to incremental growth. Collaborate with cross-functional channel teams to accomplish specific channel objectives.
  • Responsible for the annual promotion plan of several brands under different product categories to maximize consumer appeal.
  • Overseeing the entire end-to-end process from planning to implementation for promotion activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Shopper Marketing
  • Owns the partnership with Marketing teams to create a long range calendar of activities and events grounded in deep understanding of the Shopper, Channel and Category
  • Develops the Category Management approach for Modern & Traditional Channels driving deeper partnership based collaboration and category captaincy (as appropriate)
  • Partners to build Shopper & Channel Learning plans that drive actionable insights on the right shopper levers to deploy, in the right channels, at the right times
  • Builds and maps shopper lifecycle and deeply understands how to maximize new consumer acquisition through trade, category or channel programs

Shopper and Consumer Engagement
  • Helps shape how Abbott brands are presented to Customers and Shoppers through both direct and indirect contact methods, with particular focus on interaction via Promoter (PG) and Field Sales teams
  • Reviews opportunities to drive A&P efficiency and Brand Salience through Portfolio and/ or Category programs that drive brand awareness and new user acquisition.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

People Management:
  • Support employees in implementation of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
  • Manage team’s development throughout the path to achieve goals.
  • Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.
  • Special projects as needed by Management team.

Work Experience
  • Proven experience in trade marketing or channel management
  • Solid knowledge of below-the-line operation
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Proven characteristics in Attention to details & Follow through
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree
