Early December 2022, nearly 200 students attended the workshop "Secrets for acing an interview - Sharing from leading human resources experts" organized by ManpowerGroup Vietnam in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics - Management, Hoa Sen University.
As a keynote speaker, Ms. Vo Thi Bich Thuy, Permanent Recruitment and Consulting Services Manager, spent nearly two hours discussing about the important tips for writing CVs, cover letters and how to convince an employer in a job interview.
Ms. Thuy shared “With more than 10 years of experience in recruitment and consulting services, I can say that businesses are not only focused on professional experience of candidates but also pay attention to other important factors. Employers seek candidates with good attitude, positive personal brand on social media, good results of skills and personality tests to decide the interviewees fit with their organization’s business culture.”
Trainees of ManpowerGroup Vietnam are also given the opportunity to get more practical experience at the workshop. “Observing the mock interview, one-on-one consulting along with career orientation for students helped me gain a better understanding of the value that recruitment consultants can bring to the young talent and the community”, shared Huynh Dang Tan Phat, our Permanent recruitment Trainee.
