On 14th August, during his business trip in Vietnam, Mr. François Lancon - Regional President of Asia Pacific and Middle East paid a courtesy visit to Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and had a cordial meeting with Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Deputy Minister of MOLISA at the Ministry's Head Office.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha highly appreciated ManpowerGroup's cooperation with the Ministry over the past 11 years, which has contributed to sustainable development of Vietnamese workforce, including researches on local market; recommendations on Vietnamese Labor Law amendment; career orientations; promoting gender parity and the role of female in workplaces; promoting to repel child labor; and assisting vulnerable groups such as persons with disabilities and ethnic minorities, etc.
Responded to Deputy Minister'swarm welcome, Mr. François Lancon addressed ManpowerGroup's upcoming initiatives to enhance the quality of Vietnamese workforce, focusing on upskilling the vulnerable groups and industrial zone workers, equip them with necessary skills to find the right jobs. Highly appreciated these ideas, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha hoped to strengthen the cooperation between two parties, especially in the context of Vietnam's deeply and comprehensively international integration.
