Position Purpose

A Business Development Manager is a professional who focuses on growing a LNG business and extending the reach of its goal in order to develop LNG to Power(“GTP”) projects. His(Her) duties include identifying new opportunities and building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing stakeholders.


Job Accountabilities

•             Identifying new business opportunities, including new project, new partnerships

•             Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities in terms of GTP

•             Building relationships with stakeholders (Vietnam Gov., etc.), gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs

•             Maintaining and developing relationships with current stakeholders

•             Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends

•             Actively working towards reaching the information and data related to GTP projects

•             Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s policy and strategies, the competition in the LNG industry and positioning

Essential Qualifications

•             •             Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask

•             A strategic and creative mind

•             Strong relationship with stakeholders in particular, Vietnam government

•             A solid understanding of LNG business and marketing principles

Preferred Qualifications

•             Bachelor’s degree           

Preferred Required Experiences

•             More than 10 years with experience and knowledge of Energy Dept

Functional Competencies

•             A good understanding and in-depth knowledge of energy industry

•             Building relationship with Vietnam central and local government

•             Excellent negotiating with stakeholders including Vietnam Gov.
