ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client, a global company in industrial manufacturing, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support continued growth and high performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Operations Oversight:
- Supervise daily financial operations, including the accurate booking of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), expenses, Fixed Assets (FA), and tax-related transactions.
- Manage the reconciliation of customer and vendor statements on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Lead monthly closing activities, including local statutory financial reporting (Profit and Loss, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Tax) and bank statement reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze management reports, including Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) reports and inventory analysis, to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Generate monthly Forecast (FCST) and Best Estimation reports to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual strategy plan and budget, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee annual stocktaking and Fixed Asset counting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate both internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial objectives with business goals.
- Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to achieve financial objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a Recognized Professional Accounting qualification. ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Must possess Vietnam local certification of chief accountant.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Chief Accountant, with a track record of monitoring actual expenses and capex spending compared to budget.
- At least 5 years of finance experience in a Multinational Corporation (MNC) setting.
- Proficiency in inventory control across various categories including raw materials, finished products, packaging, and spare parts.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with tax declaration obligations, collaborating with tax authorities and state agencies.
- Familiarity with financial professional knowledge and proven skills in MNC manufacturing financial processes and related financial analysis preparation.
- Proficient in ERP and office software, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in ERP implementation and proficiency in Infor are preferred.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and deliver accurate results within specified time constraints.
- Strong learning ability, with a positive and proactive working attitude.
- Excellent analytical, logical, and digital sensitivity, coupled with strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in both oral and written communication in either Chinese or English.
