Requirements
Work Experience
Min 03 years of experience in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control of 
spare parts for mechanical equipment, piping experience or rotating 
equipment in Oil & Gas Refining, Power Plant or Petrochem Industry. 
Experience QA/QC in construction phase of those plant is acceptable
Specialty/Qualification
− A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or equivalent.
− Basic knowledge in refinery processes
− Basic Knowledge for piping and mechanical rotating / static equipment.
− Basic knowledge of four major NDT methods (RT, UT, DPT & MPT) is a 
plus
− Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum / petrochemical 
plant materials and equipment/piping
− Knowledge and experience to implement the ISO Quality Management 
System
Responsibility.
QA/QC-mechanical & Rotating Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of inspections and verifications of incoming, stocked spare parts/materials that are used for Maintenance-mechanical equipment 
− Responsible for inspection of all spare parts of mechanical equipment in the Refinery – QA/QC of incoming material – technical standard specification
− Review revamp existing warehouse procedure, and develop new procedure if required.
− Review/verify specification, technical data of materials for master data coding job.
− Review all pre-alert paperwork and the signed purchase order, making sure the supplier has provided 
sufficient and satisfactory documentation in accordance with QA/QC standards.
− Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications
− Reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
− Ensure that all inspection requirements are fulfilled satisfactorily according to the final approved drawings/contract/purchase order.
− Prepares and implements the material project inspection to complete all project requirements.
− Manage the expertise policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements in Warehouse.
− Inspects all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fuel piping, welding rods and other items regulated by the Mechanical Code.
− Coordinate with end user to develop the preservation method and plan for mechanical and rotating equipment’s & spare parts.
− Inspect and conduct the material preservation as per plan.
− Check the stocking condition of mechanical spare parts and provide solution/recommendation stocking and preservation standard.
− Make sure the material is accurate and of high quality before providing it to the end user .
− Supervise and lead PMI activities in the warehouse.
− Provide on-the-job training in QA and QC to warehouse employees.
− Perform the work assigned by warehouse Manager and Warehouse Leader.
