We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Legal Manager to join our dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will play a key role in supporting company real estate development projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant Vietnamese laws and regulations, and contributing to the successful execution of company business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all legal aspects of industrial real estate projects in Vietnam, including land acquisition, development, leasing, and construction.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments and transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Advise on compliance with Vietnamese land law, the law on enterprises, the law on investment, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and government agencies.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in Vietnamese law and regulations relevant to the company's operations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company's activities in Vietnam.
- Contribute to the overall legal strategy and development of the company in Vietnam.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Laws (or equivalent) and admitted as a lawyer in Vietnam/qualified to practice Vietnamese law.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant legal working experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
- Experience working with an international multi-national company would be an advantage.
- Native Vietnamese speaker.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Knowledge and experience with cross border transactions would be an advantage.
