About the Role
- Develop system architecture, manage interdependencies and break down work into detailed JIRA plan
- Develop architecture solutions to align software performance with business needs
- Develop and document data requirements
- Design quality metrics, quality management plan etc (e.g. using Sonarqube, 2 pair programming, use of CI/CD)
- Troubleshoot software for bugs, fix bugs if necessary and improve usability
- Manage teams of 4-5 junior developers, coach and train them, review their code
- Liaise with clients and IT PM on a day to basis (progress reporting, issue escalation, team management, dependencies management etc.)
- Perform training and support activities
- Develop testing strategies (unit testing, SIT, UAT, Pen Test)
- Develop APIs and other integration points
- Write comprehensive manuals and documentation
- Compile prototype and quality mockups
- Make sure to maintain high-quality design, experience and performance standards
- Occasional travel may be required
About you
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6-10 years of relevant Oracle experience (e.g. OFSAA, Mantas), preferably in a professional services firm
- Good coaching and team management skills and experience
- Good communication skills (English)
- Prior experience in designing of overall Oracle and/or other financial crime solutions architecture
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of said applications
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features for existing applications
- Maintain code integrity and organisation
- Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- API design and development
- Highly experienced with server infrastructure, deployment and maintenance (Linux and Windows Server)
- Experience using Java, Python and other frameworks such as R
- Development experience that is device and platform agnostic – mobile, desktop, tablet, large format
Proficient usage of code versioning tools (Git, Jenkins)
