CAD DRAFTER
(Topographical Survey)


RESPONSIBILITY
Working as part of an expanding team and reporting to the principal surveyor/operations manager.
Work closely with the utility and topographical surveyors on a wide variety of projects to deliver completed 2D/3D AutoCAD models/drawings, as well as working with 3D point cloud data to produce floor plans, elevations and also topographical drawings. The role will also entail providing drafting support to other disciplines within the business.
REQUIREMENTS
- High level of competency and experience using AutoCAD and other Autodesk products ideally within
a utility/topographical survey-based environment.
- Experience with the production of 2d and 3d AutoCAD models/drawings.
- Experience processing raw survey data ideally in N4CE or LSS.
- Knowledge of the latest industry standards relating to utility and topographical surveys.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to check drawings/models put together by the surveyors.
- Working knowledge of layering, external references, coordinate grids, datums and sheeting up
drawings.
- Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
