Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Applications Engineer (RF), located in Hanoi Capital Region. The Field Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, sales activities, and analog and electronics knowledge in the field. The role will involve day-to-day interactions with customers, troubleshooting, and designing and implementing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide field applications support to customers for Wireless RF, Microwave & High-Speed Communication products. Technical champion in the signal chain of communication wireless applications in the Sales/FAE team.
Understanding and disseminating Customers' system needs; Supporting customer projects with system knowledge, on-site troubleshooting, driving technology discussions with a focus on maximizing share, forming deep customer relationships, and driving exemplary customer satisfaction.
Collect customers' technical requirements and macro trends of the application, report the new product idea to BU for product/solution definition; Develop and propose new products to Product Lines to fill customers' new needs.
Qualifications
More than 3 years of R&D experience in the communication wireless base station industry. Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
System level knowledge of some of them:3G/4G Macro/Micro BTS, 3G/4G Multi-carrier Picocells, Femtocell and small Cells, FDD and TDD Active Antenna Systems; FPGA-related experience is an advantage.
Solid knowledge in Broad RF, Microwave, high-speed converters, and mixed-signal circuit applications/design at the board/system level.
Experience in ADS, MATLAB, and software programming ability.
Strong problem-solving and technical skills, with the ability to work as a team and build relationships with all the stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese.
