1. Job Description
Overseas and domestic EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Business for various plants and facilities in the Energy, Healthcare/Life Science and Industrial Project
The fire protection / prevention engineer will be the project leaders and coordinate other design disciplines to delivery high quality development from feasibility study until handover of projects on time and budged
The role will have extensive collaborating across functions, internally and externally including service providers, project managements and sale & related engineering department, etc. with the following key responsibility:
▪ Familiar with all the necessary authority requirements related fire protection / prevention design, submissions and approval process from Master planning to Construction
▪ Interfaces directly with the fire authority / police to define project requirements.
▪ Join feasibility study and design initial concept till completion
▪ Adhere to project schedule and budget and lead value engineering design where necessary
▪ Identify the required fire alarm system such as type of detectors, system configuration etc.
▪ Identify the required firefighting system such as type of sprinkler system, deluge, and monitor, hose real and type of portable fire extinguisher etc.
▪ Select, evaluate and provide necessary reports, proposals, applications and contracts related to projects
▪ Directly manage consultant's team, review and manage design development and approval process as well as permit obtaining in timely manners
2. Requirements
▪ Bachelor’s degree in fire design engineering or equivalent
▪ More than 10 years relevant experience in Fire protection / prevention
▪ Knowledge of Vietnamese law and regulations such as QCVN/TCVN relating to Fire protection / prevention design is mandatory
▪ Knowledge of NFPA 13 and 72 is mandatory
▪ Knowledge of NFPA 10, 12, 14, 17 20 and 2001 has an advantage
▪ Have design license or/ and supervision license in firefighting and fire alarm
▪ Great communication (written/verbal) through exceptional spoken and written English as well as Vietnamese is also essential.
▪ Willing to work in overseas and work at construction sites in other provinces
▪ Open minded and would like to have long time employment with our company
